Wir fliegen Ende März via Bangkok nach Krabi.
Zwischen den beiden Flügen liegen ca. 6 Stunden Wartezeit (von ca. 06.30 Uhr bis ca. 13.00 Uhr), die wir gerne sinnvoll nutzen würden.
Kann uns jemand einen Tipp geben, wo man in Bangkok evtl. nur duschen und frühstücken kann, ohne gleich ein Zimmer für eine Übernachtung buchen zu müssen?

wir sind im April in Bangkok und haben das gleiche "Problem" vor unserem Rückflug (6,5 Stunden Aufenthalt).
Für diese Zeit haben wir uns ein Hotel in direkter Flughafenumgebung ausgesucht, und zwar das The Cottage
Zum duschen und ggfls. noch mal in den Pool hüpfen ist es bestimmt ausreichend. Außerdem ist ein kostenloser Flughafen Shuttle bereits im Preis (26 € gesamt) inkludiert. Allerdings haben wir kein Tageszimmer gebucht, sondern eine normale Übernachtung, wir checken dann halt einfach wieder aus.
Das Louis kann, soweit ich informiert bin, wirklich nur gebucht werden, wenn man innerhalb des Transitbereichs bleibt.
Wenn ihr keinen Airport Shuttle fahren wollt, gäbe es noch das Novotel Suvarnabhumi, das Stück kann man vom Terminal wohl auch laufen. Das Hotel bietet auch Tageszimmer an, ich meine mich aber zu erinnern, dass man das Tageszimmer max. 4 Stunden nutzen kann.

Room Rate: THB 2,394 net per room for stay 1 – 4 hours in room at maximum
Rates are inclusive of 10% service charge, 7% government tax and 2% provincial tax, per room.
Please take note that our period for Fresh Up rate is for anytime, maximum 1 – 4 hours of stay in the room. To stay over 4 hours, it’s considerred as 1 night stay at THB 5,985 net per room per night on room only basis.
Maximum 2 adult and 2 children under16 years sharing per room with arrangement free of charge for 1 extra bed based on bed only and depend on available.
Additional person will be charged with arrangement 1 extra bed at THB 1300, the rate is subject to 10% of service charge and 7% of tax based on bed only, maximum 1 additional person sharing per room.
All reservations must be guaranteed with a valid credit card. Any guaranteed reservation which has not been cancelled before 6pm (local time) will result in the client being billed the room rate for the first night.

Ich hatte denen extra noch zurück geschrieben, ob es keine Möglichkeit gibt, das Tageszimmer länger zu nutzen. Eine "normale" Übernachtung wollten wir bei dem Kurs nämlich nicht buchen, nur um noch mal duschen zu können. Die Antwort war ein klares nein. Vielleicht hatte ich es mit nem Azubi zu tun? *kofpkratz*
Egal, das the Cottage ist zwar sicher meilenweit vom Novotel entfernt, aber für 6,5 Stunden wird´s ganz sicher gehen
