Boasting an outdoor pool, the family-run Calergi Residence is located at a hill in Atsipopoulo Village, overlooking Rethymno Town. It features restored, stone-built accommodation with colourful paintings and pieces of traditional Cretan pottery. Free WiFi is available throughout. Fitted with iron beds and hypoallergenic Coco-Mat beds and mattresses, all air-conditioned studios and split-level apartments of Calergi open out to a private balcony or terrace with pool or garden views. Each has a kitchen with dining table, combined oven and hobs, and a flat-screen TV. A hairdryer, bathrobes and slippers are also provided. Some units have a fireplace. Free delectable coffee and unlimited refill, as well as treats are offered to the guests. Sun loungers are featured at the sun terrace by the pool. Facilities include a hot tub and pool towels. Guests can start their day with a breakfast serving treats such as Cretan herb pies, fresh orange juice and homemade jam. A bar and a snack bar for light meals are available. Right next to the accommodation guests can taste traditional bread and ring-shaped rusk from the local bakery.
