Zwischenzeitlich hat sich auch das Mandarin Oriental Hotel gemeldet. Leider haben sie die Ayuttaya Tour mit der Oriental Queen eingestellt.
Ich wurde auch hier an die Grand Pearl Tour verwiesen (1900 THB pro Person).
Der Ablauf wäre wie folgt (ich hab´s der Einfachheit halber mal aus der E-Mail heraus kopiert):
06.15- 07.20hrs. Get picked-up from Major hotels.
07.30 hrs. Get on a Grand Pearl Coach at the River City Shopping Complex, leaving for Ayutthaya.
09.00 hrs. Visit the beautiful Bang Pa-In Summer Palace, previously lived by many Thai monarchs from 17th century.
Bang Pa-In has a captivating collection of marvelous pavilions in a variety of Thai, Chinese, Italian and Victorian architectural styles, encircled by lush beautiful gardens and lake.
10.30 hrs. Arrive the Ancient Capital City. Visit Wat Phrasrisanphet, the largest temple in Ayutthaya that was built in 14th century and use as the Royal Temple-cum-palace by several kings, Viharn Phra Monkol Bopit and Wat Mahathat the oldest temple.
13.00 hrs. Welcome onboard the luxurious Grand Pearl Cruise at Wat Chonglom Pier. Superb buffet lunch which includes a delightful variety of oriental and western cuisines will be served. In the meantime, you will relax and enjoy the ascinating scenery on the River of Kings. The boat will pass Nonthaburi province before reaching Bangkok City.
15.00 hrs. Coffee break will be served while you enjoy the enchanting sight along the river banks such as the Royal Barges, Thammasart University, the Royal Grand Palace and the graceful Temple Of Dawn.
16.00 hrs. Arrive at the River City Shopping Complex Pier, getting a transfer to the major hotels.
