I agree with you that several mails are useless...but, damn, they can just give a single answer or receipt!!

You say my rights are known...you said it....but they don’t!

It is your obligation to send an email with confirmation request (this is an automatic choice within the most email providers on sending a message!) and the automatic receipt will do.

You will not have to show up at the airport and - even worse! - take the risk of beeing allowed for transportation and then rejected on entry.

Just stay at home, keep calm and take into consideration that neither me nor Anex are the deciders about your rights!

The no entry policy has been agreed on a far higher level and makes your journey impossible.

I understand. But as you said, you are not the deciders of my rights. And the problem is that nobody is communicating about my rights...so nobody knows what my rights are. Forums, Insurances,...everybody has a different version! That’s why I’m upset.

Anex and HC are in charge...so for me, they have to communicate.

In fact the situation is quite clear. In Germany the §651h BGB rules cancellation rights for packaged voyages. As this is founded in an European Law, there must be an similar law in Belgium.

For reference, find here the link to the European Document. You can go directly to (31) and read that you have the right to terminate the contract without paying any termination fee where unavoidable and extraordinary circumstances will significantly affect the performance of the package.

Declaring missing responsibility from my side was for the best in regards of your interests - the law is settled and you have no reason to be worried.

Of course all involved companies are very aware of the legal obligations, this is not a banana republic situation!

Das interessiert mich auch sehr. Konnte mir bisher weder das hotel noch hc beantworten. Beide wussten es nicht. Vom Reiseveranstalter bekam ich überhaupt keine Antwort.
