ich habe das ja auch mal gegoogelt und auch bei Costa angefragt. Es gibt mehrere Möglichkeiten, wo das Schiff ankern kann. Costa konnte mir das Anfang des Jahres noch nicht sagen, wo das Schiff ankern wird. Man sagte mir, dass wird oft sehr kurzfristig geklärt.

There isn't one specific place that cruise ships dock. Some of the cruise ships dock near Patong Beach, other cruise ships dock in Phuket City and others dock in the Port of Phuket. Verify with your cruise line in advanceas to where you will be docking since each cruise line uses various locations in Phuket for docking purposes.

In general: On high season (November-April) you will be tendered to Patong beach (main tourist area) and on Monsoon season (May - October) you will be docked at Phuket Deep Sea Port at Ao Mankarm. Overnight stops sometimes do both: tender you first to Patong and then reposition to the dock later.
Cruise ships dock at the Port of Phuket. It is a 20-minute drive to Phuket Town. Taxis or bemos (typical local transport) are usually available at the pier. Rates are relatively expensive and should be negotiated. It is suggested writing down the agreed price to avoid any dispute.
If tendered to Patong, it will be to the jetty opposite Sunset Hotel. There will be taxis waiting offering tours and sightseeing.
