Englischsprachige Hotelbewertung zum Marriott Hua Hin
"We get to our rooms and settle in again. I jump in the shower first. Then my husband takes a shower. Just as my husband put shampoo in his hair, the water slowly comes to a stop. There was no water coming out of the shower head, sink or toilet. I called the front desk and was told that they are aware of the issue. I was told "The government shut off the water. It will be back on in 30 minutes." I was a little upset and responded the lady if they knew the government was going to shut off the water for 30 minutes, why didn't they inform their guests so they don't jump in the shower until after the water comes back on. I explained to the lady that my husband is in the shower with shampoo in his hair. What the heck is he supposed to do? She told me to tell my husband to go wash the shampoo off in the pool. I asked the lady to repeat it to make sure I heard it right and sure enough she told me to tell my husband to go wash off the shampoo in the pool. I tell my husband and he's as shocked as I am that a five star hotel employee would tell him to go wash off in the pool because their water was shut off by the government. My husband wiped the bubbles off his face, throws his swim trunks on and runs out of our room (on the 3rd floor) with a white, bubbly head full of shampoo. As he gets to the corner of the hall, some of the shampoo starts dripping to his eyes. As he wipes the shampoo off his eyes, he trips on a little step/dip in the hall. He chips one of his toenails and almost falls into the flight of stairs going down. He washes off the shampoo in the pool and comes back to our room.
Later my husband and I were in the lobby area waiting for our ride to pick us up for dinner. We saw one of the hotel employees and the manager (the Indian man). My husband and I explained what happened earlier and didn't get much of a response from him. The manager was shocked that his staff had simply told my husband to go wash up in the pool. He didn't address the fact that my husband was put a risk running to the pool with a head full of dripping shampoo that could affect his vision if it got in his eyes. The manager told us that he would look in to the issue. THAT WAS IT. No apologies, nothing!!! Back in the US, if my husband had tripped and fell, it would have been a lawsuit."
