Wichtiger Strand-Hinweis/ Playacar Hotels (28.01)

Das der Strand geöffnet sein soll, wäre ja immerhin wieder mal ein Anfang.

Allerdings denke ich nicht, dass das komplette Riff bis dahin fertig sein wird - könnte mir vorstellen, dass es dennoch zu beeinträchtigungen kommt durch LKW oder halt "Bauarbeiten" etc.

Hoffe es zwar natürlich nicht für alle, die Ihren Urlaub da verbringen möchten, aber man sollte auf alle Fälle beim Reiseveransteler nachhaken um evtl. schriftlich zu haben, dass alles in bester Ordnung ist - sollte es dann vor Ort nicht so sein, hilft das natürlich wenn man das Hotel wechseln will etc.

habe mir gerade das Video angeschaut.Es ist sehr traurig das man so viel Geld ausgibt für einen Urlaub ,man freut sich schon auf die Karibi lund dann hast so was vor der Tür .Schade für alle die zu Zeit jetzt dort Urlaub machen.Hoffe das bis März ist schon alles abgeschlossen

Wir hatten uns auch erst überlegt gehabt wieder Mexiko (Playa del Carmen) anzusteuern. Finde es aber auch gut das man was dagegen tut, da sich der Strand seit dem Hurrikane Katrina schwer verändert hat. @palme30... ich war 2000 das erste mal am Playacar und die Strände haben sich seit dem Hurrikane ziemlich stark verändert, ist überhaupt kein vergleich mehr zu damals.

Bin jedoch mal gespannt wie sich das Riff dann auf den schönen Ausblick aufs Meer auswirkt.

Wenn Du den direkten Vergleich zu "früher" hast, dann glaub ich Dir gerne, wenn Du sagst, daß es vorm Hurrikan ganz anders war......Vielleicht erleb ich nun die Erfahrung anderst rum, so daß es beim nächsten Besuch wieder so aussieht wie damals.....

Wir fliegen im März in das Sandos Playacar Beach Resort & Spa.

Wir hatten das Hotel gebucht weil es das letzte in der Reihe ist. Leider haben wir da ja jetzt die Baustelle. Wie hoch ist die Wahrscheinlichkeit das die Baustelle bis März weg ist?

Sollten wir von der Reise zurück treten?

Traumurlaub mit Baustelle am Strand - das geht nicht, dafür ist der Spaß zu teuer...

Wäre dankbar wenn alle Reisenden die  vor März noch vor Ort sind anschließend berichten würden. Danke!

Following our communiqué fromJanuary 22, 2010 we must inform you that because of delays of thecompany contracted by the Government of Mexico to realize the works ofbeach recovery, recently they have informed us that this will befinished by Saturday, January 30th in front of our Beach, neverthelessthe works in Playacar's zone would extend until February 10 of thepresent year.

From this Saturday, Jan 30th in Sandos Playacar Beach Resort and Spawe could use the NEW beach, which will be at least 50 meters wide, witha restricted area between ocean and beach, meaning that there will be acordoned area for vehicles to transit, destined for these works,certainly with the constant alertness of our elements of Security toprevent accidents. See photographs here below exemplify what Imention. This situation will last until the Total termination dategiven to us, mentioned before, February 10. 2010

Certainlythe beach section that we have equipped in the right side of the Resortwould be kept with the same services already mentioned for your comfortand in order to affect you as little as possible by this situation outof our control. This Beach has beach beds, umbrellas, a bar, food area,animation and personalized service, allowing you to be comfortable andshould fulfill the objective of your vacations, relaxation andamusement.
